CRIM

Mom signed me up for the CRIM invitational at school. She didn’t realize until earlier in the week that it was for the 1/2 mile run, and not the 1/4 mile Teddy Bear Trot! Mom & Dad ran with me.

Ready to run!044

Me & one of my classmates. Aren’t we cute?!047

Boo-boo’s & bandaids!

I LOVE Band-aids lately!  Every time I get a bump, scratch, or any kind of boo-boo, I need a Band-aid.  Tonight, I got a hold of a couple, and made a “hurt” face for the camera!phone 024

Mackinac Island Trip

Daddy had a four day weekend, and Mom was almost done with classes for the summer, so we went back up north.  On Friday, we took a ferry to Mackinac Island with our bikes.  016

I was a little unsure about sitting on top of the ferry at first!017

The Mackinac Bridge from the boat.024

It was very windy!033

Fort Mackinac035

Getting closer!039

When we got off the boat, Mom and Dad spotted a Mackinac Island “beer truck!”040

We got on our bikes and started riding.  Our first stop was the school, where I got to play for a little bit.

Here I am swinging.  Mom tried to get the bridge behind me, but it was very humid & hazy.045

Daddy & I spotted some fresh “road apples!”  We saw A LOT of road apples during our ride around the island!050

We stopped for lunch after riding for a while.  Daddy took me to put my feet in the water to cool off.058

An old cannon on the back of the island.065

People like to stack rocks around the island.  They are all over the rocky beaches.066

Arch Rock069

Back on the bike to ride some more!068

Our next stop when we got back to the main side of the island, was the Butterfly House.  We walked through and saw lots of butterflies flying around!Pictures1

The Butterfly House also had a section with old turtles… 099

… and a scary spider!102

After the Butterfly House, we took another bike ride through town.  Here is a closer look at the Grand Hotel.103

We stopped to get some fudge, and I started to get tired, and begged Mom to carry me!106

The Mackinac Island UPS delivery truck!  Even the horse is brown!107

After dinner, we got back on the ferry to head back to the mitten.  The waves were huge & we got really wet on the ride back!  It was a great trip!  Next time, I’d like to go for a carriage ride!

Horse riding fun!

Today, Mom took me to her friend’s barn to ride her horse, Bunny.  I met some other kids of Mom’s classmates, and we got to take turns going for a ride.  I LOVED it!!010013After we rode Bunny, we got to brush her and feed her a treat.  I had a great time!  Thanks, Lorraine!015

Silly faces!

Mom and I were in a playing mood, and she grabbed the camera.  I had fun making different faces!!Pictures
