Happy New Year!

2011 was a fast and furious year for the Weston’s!

Shannon started a new job last summer in Grand Blanc, so he is no longer driving to Saginaw!  He gave up vacation time, but so far, it has been worth having him so close to home!

Gabrielle started her nursing career at GRMC.  She is in the cardiac intensive care unit, and learning so much every day!  In May, she started third shift, which has been difficult at times, but we are making it work!

Anna turned 4 years old in 2011.  She also started a new school closer to home.  She is learning so much in preschool, and we are gearing up to send her to kindergarten in the fall (how is that even possible?!).

As pretty much everyone knows by now, we are preparing to welcome Emma Lauren into our family!  She is expected mid-April, so watch for plenty of updates from her as well!

As you can see, Mom didn’t have a lot of time to keep up with the blog!  The past year was filled with a lot of changes for our family, and we have been excited to share them with our family and friends!   What a year!!

We are expecting this year to be just as blessed, and we can’t wait to share our crazy life with you all!

When I’m quiet…

Daddy put me in his bed to go to sleep.  I was awfully quiet very fast.  Twenty minutes later, when he came to check on me, this is what he found…

Mom & Dad weren’t too happy with the mess I made with the powder, lotion, and deodorant.  I got put in my bed very soon after this!

More Winter Fun!

Dad made a huge snow pile while he was shoveling.  I love to climb to the top!

Sledding Fun with Mom & Aunt Becca

The day before Mom started at the hospital, we went sledding with Aunt Becca.  I had a lot of fun going down the biggest hill!!

 

   I didn’t want to leave, but Mom said according to my rosy cheeks, it was probably time to go.  We got to have hot chocolate at home to help warm us up!

Circus with the Holt’s

The Shrine Circus was in town, and we went with the Holt’s.  It was a lot of fun, even though it seemed each kid took their turn being grumpy!  We saw lots of clowns, lions, elephants. horses, and acrobats, but our favorite act was the silly pigs!  Later, we got to even snack on some popcorn and cotton candy!  It was a lot of fun with good friends!

Saginaw Children’s Museum with the Pelton’s

Happy New Year!!

Mom starts her new job at the hospital soon, so we decided to have a play date with The Pelton’s while we still had time together.  We visited the Mid Michigan Children's Museum in Saginaw.  We had a lot of fun, and got to explore a lot of new things!

I really liked the huge water table.  I love to play in the water!

I got to go inside a giant mouth, with huge teeth, and a big tongue!

We all tried on glasses.  Some were cute, and some were really silly!

I showed Mom & Dad how good I am getting at writing my name on the chalk table!

We got to make a craft project.  Mommy helped…a little.

The museum brought in a pool filled with sand!  I could have played in here for hours!

Mom even got in on the fun when she tried to hula-hoop.  She wasn’t very good at it, but she claims she once was when she was little!!

We had a great time at the museum!  After we left, it was definitely time for a nap!!
