We had another fun day at the park with Aunt Becca.
She pushed me in the swings…
We went down the slide together…
We crawled through the tunnels…
We jumped across the tires…
I was sad when it was time to leave.
I love Aunt Becca!
Mommy sure feels blessed to be able to spend so much time with me during her online classes. This morning, she was reading for school while I was playing in my room. Little did she know what I was up to until she thought I was being too quiet! Take a look!
I stripped off all my clothes, climbed up on my pony and emptied out my sock/diaper/pajama drawers!!
Today, we packed up and dropped our checked luggage at the airport. We went to visit with Great-Great Grandpa, and took some pictures.
Then we went to lunch at Slim's. They have the best burgers! I shared a burger with mommy & ate lots of pickles. I got so sleepy, that I fell asleep on mommy's lap at the restaurant.
A few hours later, we were back on airplanes. This time, all of our flights were on time. I even got a pair of wings from a flight attendant. We had to hurry to make our connections, but we finally arrived home at 11:00 p.m.
We had a great time visiting Great-Great Grandpa, but we are very happy to be home!
Happy Birthday tomorrow to Grandma Stacie!
I want to wish all my Grandmas, Great-Grandmas, Aunts, and Mom a Happy Mother's Day!!
Mommy did homework and I napped while Great-Grandma & Uncle Steve went to Great-Great-Grandpa's for lunch. I also got to talk to Daddy on the phone!
After we woke up, we walked across the street to Applebee's so I could "take" Mom to lunch! It was yummy & they gave Mommy a pretty pink carnation that she let me have. It smelled really good!
Grandma & Uncle Steve picked us up and we went to the park to play. I met another little girl & we played in the gravel around the big toy.
We stopped back by the hotel so Grandma could take a nap before dinner & I got to talk to Daddy, Grandma, Grandpa, Korey, and Alan on the computer!
Later on, we went out for dinner at the Green Mill Restaurant. It is a really nice restaurant that is in a hotel where Aunt Betty’s house used to be. It is right on the lake & we had the best table in the house!
We slept in a little bit today and then we went and had lunch with Great-Great-Grandpa. There are two parakeets in a cage there, and one of the ladies took one out so I could pet her. I thought that was really cool!
After lunch, it was time for Grandpa's daily trip to Slim's for his wine & coffee. We dropped Grandma off at a friend's house, then stopped by Slim's. I got a cute dinosaur from Lisa. She barely recognized me because I've grown so much since she saw me last year!
After a nap, we went to Aunt Betty's house for dinner. She made homemade lasagna & fruit salad. I got to see Brian, Ken, and Beth, too. Brian has a little dog named Lottie that loved to play with me. I thought it was fun when she got the ball I threw to her over & over!!
After dinner, Mommy had a paper to finish writing, so we went back to the hotel & she worked on that while Uncle Steve, Grandma, and I walked around the hotel. I sure kept them busy!!
After sleeping in this morning, Mommy & I took a bath and got ready, and Uncle Steve came down to our room. We went to rent a car, and then went to Wal-Mart for some snacks and milk. Afterwards, we went and picked up Great-Great Grandpa Carpenter. I saw lots of little ladies that just loved me! I explored around and found the birds that I saw last year, only I didn't really remember!
Today is Great-Great Grandpa's 91st birthday, and we went to lunch at the Peppercorn, a nice restaurant next to the hotel. Mommy & I split a French dip sandwich that would make Daddy jealous!!
By this time, I was really tired & Mommy took me back to the room for a nap while Great-Grandma & Uncle Steve took Great-Great Grandpa to Slim's.
After our nap, we drove downtown to see the big statues of Paul Bunyan & Babe the blue ox. Uncle Steve played in the park with me and we went down the slide together!
We visited with Great-Great Grandpa at his home for a little bit, then went to dinner. Uncle Steve showed me a cool game on his iTouch. Later, I even showed him a thing or two!
What a fun day!
Tomorrow, we are going to have lunch at Great-Great Grandpa's & then have dinner at Aunt Betty's house. She always makes such delicious homemade meals!!
Our trip to Bemidji started out on the rough side. We got to Bishop Airport around 9:30 a.m., expecting to fly out around 10:15. After Mommy got us through the security check, I wanted to walk around and see everything. Just when we thought it should be about time to get on the plane, the workers told us there was something wrong with the plane on its way to get us, and it had to go back. So we had to wait for another one, which would be over an hour later! A bigger problem is that we would miss both connections, and there are only 2 flights a day into Bemidji. After a while, we finally had our itinerary, and instead of getting into Bemidji at 4:00 p.m. CST, it would be almost 11:00 p.m. CST!
After awhile, we were finally off on our first flight! I had so much fun & loved to look out the window while sitting on Mommy's lap. After a short 17 minute flight, we got to Detroit.
It was a good thing that we had new flights, because we would have NEVER made our first connection if we had our original flight. We ate a quick lunch and rushed to our next flight which happened to be very far away from our arrival gate! After getting there & waiting, we were then told that our gate changed to very far back the other way!! So back we go & finally get on our 2nd flight. It was naptime, so I drank my bottle & was asleep while we were waiting in line to take off. Mommy couldn't believe that I actually slept right through take-off!
I woke up when we were almost to Minneapolis & looked out the window some more. I saw li ttle itty bitty school buses on the road below us & thought that was pretty cool! I also saw a really big river that reminded me of Dora! Mommy told me it was the Mississippi River.

We had almost 6 hours before our next flight, so we took the train to the Mall of America. There was an amusement park that was Nickelodeon themed & I saw a lot of pictures of my favorite characters - Dora, Diego, Yo Gabba Gabba, and the Wonder Pets.
I didn't ride any rides because they had some weird schedules that Mommy wasn't so sure about, but it was fun to look at everything!
We walked through LegoLand & saw lots of big things made out of Lego's - Alan would love it! There were big dinosaurs & a motorcycle rider!
We went through an aquarium called Underwater Adventures & I got to see lots of neat animals! They had turtles, crabs, starfish, seahorses, sharks, stingrays, and lots & lots of fish. We went through a really long tunnel on a moving sidewalk that had fish & sharks swimming right over our heads!!
After the aquarium, we ate dinner at Rainforest Cafe. Mommy was surprised that it wasn't as big as the one at Great Lakes Crossing. They only really had the monkeys & gorillas that came alive during the thunderstorm. After a really good meal, we were back on the train to the airport.
I played in a little play area for a little while to stretch my legs and get out some energy before the last flight.
On our last flight, a little puddle jumper, as Mommy calls it, I got to sit in my very own seat!
Unfortunately, we didn't have a window, but it was dark anyway. I played with stickers, and colored, and before we knew it, we finally arrived in Bemidji! It was too late to pick up our car, so we got a taxi to the hotel. Boy, did we sleep good!
